Jumah event removed from DNC web site calendar.

Florida Family Association sent out an email alert on August 29, 2012 which reported the following two sub headlines:  DNC approves Jumah for 20,000 Muslims. RNC adopts anti-Sharia plank at convention.  The DNC portion of the email alert is posted below.

The email alert and Floridafamily.org web site provided a link to the DNC web site calendar of events which at that time and up until yesterday afternoon included the Juma event.  However, the Juma event has been removed from the DNC web site calendar.  A supporter also took note of this change and submitted the following email to Florida Family Association.

Subject: "Jumma at the DNC" has just been removed from the DNC website.

Hi,

I thought you may be interested to know that.

"Jumma at the DNC" has just been removed from the DNC website! It was still there 5.30 PM on 8/30/2012 and at 6.30 PM it was gone! I looked everywhere but it's not listed anymore.

Looks like the DNC are getting cold feet!

This is a great victory!

KEEP THE PRESSURE UP!

Is it possible the DNC felt pressure to remove this even from the calendar?  And if so what pressure?

The Washington Times reports that 20,000 Muslims will gather for “Jumah at DNC” lead by radical Imam Siraj Wahhaj

“The Democratic National Convention is endorsing a political platform for the organizers of a program called the “Jumah at the DNC.” It begins with a jummah prayer on Friday, August 31 and ends on September 2,

On the surface it appears that the event, organized by the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA), is cultural fun for the whole family whose only political focus is Muslims’ right to assembly, but it is much more than that.

The DNC lists the assembly as an “official function” and claims that the leaders of the program are typical of the DNC community. The group is hardly “mainstream,” being represented by Siraj Wahhaj, who will be the “Grand Imam” for the gathering.”

Imam Siraj Wahhaj

Here's what the Washington Times reports about Imam Siraj Wahhaj.

  • At a solidarity speech in 1995, Wahhaj informed the world that it was his “duty and our duty as Muslims to replace the U.S. Constitution with the Quran.”
  • On another occasion Wahhaj commented, “if only Muslims were clever politically, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate.”
  • At another time he warned the United States that it is doomed to fall unless it “accepts the Islamic agenda.”
  • And finally, this: “You know what this country (USA) is? It’s a garbage can. It’s filthy.”

Moderate? You be the judge. And his appearance in Charlotte is endorsed by the DNC.

What is so disheartening about the so-called “Jumah at the DNC” is that it has thus far gone unnoticed or ignored by the mainstream press.

Republican National Convention adopts anti-Sharia plank.

The Republican Party’s platform committee adopted a plank without argument or debate on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 which embraces American Laws for American Courts legislation that prohibits courts from considering foreign laws, including Sharia law.  The platform was sponsored by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach.

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called on the GOP to reject what they call an “anti-Islam platform.”

And of course the far leftist media like The Chicago Tribune, NewJersey.com and the Kansas City Star took deep shots at patriotic Americans’ concern regarding the threat Sharia law poses to the United States.

Truly, Islamists' best friends are found in America's mainstream media and Democratic party.
