Ignoring SCIENTIFIC facts, the UN attempts Global Governance coup at Rio + 20...and dominance by the UN!

Since I don’t watch the mind control lame stream media…. I don’t know if they are announcing that BHO was in Rio…and that at this “event” they pledged $513 BILLION dollars to the UN.

Who do you think is going to give 90% of that money!  Want to  know if your rep is FOR OR AGAINST AMERICANS?  Real easy to tell…has he signed the bill to get the US out of the UN?

HR1146.  Of course put into the House by none other than Ron Paul.  Go to www.popvox.com   look up HR1146 and DEMAND your representative SIGN THIS BILL!!!

This is Rio +20…Agenda 21…. Please read and share! ~victoria

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Twenty years after the first Rio “Earth Summit,” adopted the United Nations Agenda 21, the Rio + 20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development is poised to sign off a global governance agreement that ignores newly published scientific research.

Much has changed in two decades, including a plethora of peer-reviewed research that questions or refutes the idea that humans are causing irreversible and catastrophic damage to Earth’s environment.

In a recent interview, one of the revered “fathers” of the global warming scare, scientist James Lovelock, has admitted that:

“The world has not warmed up very much since the millennium. Twelve years is a reasonable time… (The temperature) has stayed almost constant, whereas it should have been rising -- carbon dioxide is rising, no question about that.”

Lovelock points to his own book, The Revenge of Gaia, published in 2006, along with Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth, as examples of “alarmist” forecasts of the future, which fueled the environmental movement.

“The problem is we don’t know what the climate is doing. We thought we knew 20 years ago…. because it looked clear-cut, but it hasn’t happened,” Lovelock said. “We were supposed to be halfway toward a frying world now.”

Lovelock is retired now, but scientists all over the world are still researching the facts about global climate, revealing no consensus that humans are causing harmful climate change by burning fossil fuels and releasing CO2 into the atmosphere.

For example, a group of researchers from Germany, Sweden and the U.S. studied sediment from a lake in Siberia.

They found that that over the past 2.8 million years, extreme warm conditions have occurred near the lake at least 8 times, with maximum summer temperatures 4.5 degrees C (40 degrees F) warmer than now. The scientists wrote that their data could not be explained by greenhouse gases and solar activity alone.

The Popular Technology website has compiled a list of 1,000+  (click here) peer-reviewed scientific papers refuting the idea that humans are causing unprecedented global warming that will cause catastrophe with the earth’s climate.

In the face of this growing amount of new scientific evidence, environmentalists are not backing down, but changing their rhetoric.

One leader at a meeting related to the Rio +20 conference this week, noting that because conservatives reject the notion global warming, “We don’t use the term climate change anymore. It’s sustainable development.”

So undeterred, representatives from 192 countries at the conference are ignoring inconvenient facts and planning to use the United Nations and global environmental taxes to “redistribute the wealth” of Western nations to the third world.

“Rio+20′s ‘Future We Want’ document is chock full of troubling policy proposals,” said David Rothbard, president of CFACT, the Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow.

According to CFACT and the U.N. executive summary, the Rio+20 agreement will include:

• Spending $ billions to achieve 80% CO2 emissions reductions by 2050;
• Enforceable worldwide environmental regulations;
• A global currency;
• A “sustainable diet” for all humans;
• Population control at “sustainable levels;” and
• Moving most people to cities, allowing half of the U.S. to revert back to “wildlands.”

“There are many more ill-conceived proposals in the current draft and there are still worse things being pushed behind closed doors by bureaucrats and pressure groups,” Rothbard said.

“The UN should strip all of the taxes, invasions of sovereignty and bureaucratic empire building out of the Rio text,” said CFACT Executive Director Craig Rucker.

“Individual freedom, free enterprise, prosperity, respect for private property and the rule of law are the proven paths to accomplish all that is the best for people and the planet too,” Rucker said.

Global warming, Rucker noted, is the “dead elephant in the room.”

At the Rio +20 UN Conference on Sustainability, CFACT represents a science-based, conservative point of view.
